AppointmentsIn the initial appointment, we will have a chance to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. This joint introduction will allow me to identify what suits you best and will give us an opportunity to think together about the most appropriate type of support for you, including the frequency and length of therapy.
Subsequent appointments are usually weekly, for 50 minutes. I am set up to work with insurance providers, if you would further information please get in touch. At present, I am offering online appointments due to the measures introduced during the covid-19 pandemic. When face-to-face appointments become possible again these will take place at a central Oxford location. |
ApproachMy therapeutic approach is integrative, developed through my training in psychotherapy and counselling psychology. I make use of a broad range of therapeutic models such as psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
Using evidence-based treatments informed by psychological principles and clinical experience, I work to collaboratively formulate and develop a treatment plan that fits with the client’s unique set of needs. My approach is grounded in a humanistic value base, which embraces difference and diversity, allowing for the unique experience of the client to be central to the therapeutic endeavour that seeks to support a fulfilling life. |
